The first CNG fueling station of Suntien’s natural gas subsidiary formally opened for business in Shahe city at 5:30 am on 23rd August. The station made a good start on the first day, as it filled up 253 vehicles with gas , sold around 2,586.9 cubic meters of gas, and earned sales income of over RMB9,000.
The CNG station is located at the crossroad between the East Ring and the South Ring in Shahe city with a total area of 380 square meters. The company began the construction of the station in 2010, and finished the construction in July, 2011. The station adopts various technologies, e.g. pressure regulation and dehydration technologies, to process natural gas, compress natural gas, store gas with gas cylinder groups, and then fill up CNG vehicles with gas. The designed maximum gas filling volume of the station is 10,000 cubic meters per day.
